ARTIST STATEMENT "First Impressions" Photography by Peter Sterbach When I take photographs, my joy and excitement stem from capturing a moment and a mood in all of its freshness, poignancy, beauty, and wonder. As a professional musician, I have come to appreciate and uphold the notion that "timing is everything." For me, that also applies to photography--and, indeed, to life. My photos capture what is real and true for me in the moment. That's why I call my collection and my approach "First Impressions."
